CodeRaiders- Programming Club
The CodeRaiders Programming Club of Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an online programming competition which was coordinated by Achintsingh, Abhimanyu of 3rd year. The competition was held on 28th January 2017 to 29th january 2017 at www.hackerrank.com portal.
The event CodeRaiders v2.1 was a 24 hours competition where 146 students of 2nd and 3rd year participated. The contest comprised of 7 questions from different categories of programming such as basic math, sorting, string handling etc. The event was basically to make the students familiar of the coding competitions going on in the current scenario. National Seminar on Future Trends & Innovations in Computer Sciences & Engineering (NSFTICE ‘16)
National Seminar on Future Trends & Innovations in ComputerEngineering (NSFTICE'16) is a unique platform for all the students to present good research papers as well as posters on upcoming fields. This seminar is conducted under the Computer Society of India (CSI) by an active CSEIMSEC CSI Student Branch. The idea behind the seminar is to familiarize students more extensively with the methodology of their chosen branch and also to allow them to interact with examples of the practical problems that always occur during research work and project submissions.

Donation Camp by Byte Club of CS Department
Department of CSE is going to organise the Donation Camp under the " THE BYTE " club . It is the helping hand for underprivileged children.
The program aims at providing an opportunity for the students to participate and contribute to the noble cause of education of the underprivileged children by donating old story books, educational stationary etc., all in good-reusable condition.
DONATION IN KIND INCLUDES:
– Pens, pencils, geometry items,
– Colour pencils, colour sketch pens, crayons,
– Old or new academic books,
– Old or new storybooks, novels,
– Notebooks, registers, notepads, ruled sheets etc.
