Department of Computer Science & Engineering
 
Established in year 2002 with an intake of 60 students, department has grown to include more than 30 research oriented faculty members and intake increased to 240 students in 2014-15. The mission of the Department is to prepare under-graduate & post-graduate students for productive careers in industry, academia, and government by providing an outstanding environment for teaching, learning, in-house software development and research in the theory and applications of computing. Learning is not confined to class rooms. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in govt. sectors, various MNCs of repute both in India & abroad. The Computer Science & Engineering program of B.Tech & M.Tech at IMSEC integrates the study of important theoretical foundations with the study of powerful scientific methodologies that are central to the field, providing excellent preparation for graduate/postgraduate study in computer science. ​
