Centre of Advanced Robotics & Automation (CARA)

The center of advanced robotics and automation aims to prepare graduate students for the contemporary robotics field and developing a laboratory-based self-learning. The graduate learning experience will be enhanced through college level peer mentoring activities with the joint efforts of the Departments of Mechanical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science at the I.M.S. Engineering College, Ghaziabad for developing a new outreach model to attract underrepresented groups to the engineering fields. The center contributes towards knowledge and understanding of industrial robotic systems through its practical orientation towards programming robots, real time control and work cell layout design. This center is actively engaged in the development of experimental robots, where people from other engineering groups can participate based on their area of excellence to contribute in science and technology of the “field robotics” as a whole.
